DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg’s venture fund, WndrCo, recently co-led a $15.5 million Series A round for Creatify, an AI video ad platform. Creatify’s AdMax platform harnesses the power of AI to rapidly create multiple video advertisements tailored for social media marketing. By analyzing successful social video campaigns on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, AdMax is able to fine-tune its content output and boost engagement.

Major players in the tech industry are showing strong support for AI advertising. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, for example, has expressed his vision of streamlining advertising processes with the help of AI tools. These tools would run tests on thousands of ads across Facebook, Instagram, and Threads users, aiming to maximize performance and reach.
While the idea of fully automating advertising may sound radical, its success is not guaranteed. Jeffrey Katzenberg, known for his extensive experience in the entertainment industry, has had both wins and losses in his career. He famously founded Quibi, a short video platform that raised a substantial $1.75 billion but unfortunately had to shut down just six months after its launch.
