Elvie, a startup founded by women, has just launched a new app-controlled smart bouncer that smoothly converts into a bassinet – all while the baby remains inside. Revealed at CES 2025, the Elvie Rise eliminates the need for parents and caregivers to switch their baby between different soothing, sleep, and play products.
Known for its range of women’s health products like a connected breast pump and smart pelvic floor exerciser, Elvie is now venturing into the sleep category with its latest innovation.
In bouncer mode, the product utilizes Elvie’s SootheLoop technology to replicate the soothing bounce set by a parent or caregiver. It can also function as a manual bouncer if automated bouncing is not preferred. In bassinet mode, the smart bouncer adheres to the sleep safety guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), ensuring babies sleep soundly at night and during naps.

Parents and caregivers can use the Elvie Rise Sleep & Soothe app to control the automated bouncing feature. The app also offers insights into the baby’s sleep patterns. The Elvie Rise includes a firm, flat mattress and is made of breathable fabrics, with the option for cordless charging through its magnetic contact charger.
Elvie assures that the product meets safety standards in the U.S. for both bassinets and bouncers. Elvie’s Chief Product Officer Alex Knox stated in a press release, “We’ve spoken with numerous new parents, and after feeding, the biggest challenge is soothing and sleep for the baby. Elvie Rise allows all parents and caregivers to have some hands-free time for themselves, knowing their baby is safe and sound.”
The Elvie Rise can be preordered for $799 on Elvie’s website beginning Monday.
