Case in point: recently in Los Angeles a drone decided to play chicken with a firefighting plane known as the “Super Scooper.” Spoiler alert: it didn’t end well.
This incident went down during LA’s biggest wildfire ever destroying homes and sadly taking lives. The drone-versus-plane showdown caused the aircraft to bail on its mission and land for some urgent repairs né?. Heads up, you could end up doing some time in the slammer or paying a hefty fine up to 75 grand if you’re caught flying a drone during firefighting ops.
